The CVB is funded through the local hotel/motel tax that is collected from visitors who stay in one of local hotels, motels or bed and breakfasts. The Greater Burlington CVB also manages the Port of Burlington Welcome Center. The Welcome Center is full of information about the Burlington/West Burlington area, the Great River Region, and other communities in the state of Iowa.
The Greater Burlington CVB is a member of a variety of organizations. We belong to the Eastern Iowa Tourism Association, Iowa Group Travel Association, National Tourism Association, and Iowa Meetings Association.
