County Seat Project

Beginning in 2009, the Downtown Partners Design committee began a program of decorating wooden benches throughout the downtown. Local artists paint the benches, provided by the City of Burlington. The results are both playful and thought provoking, adding a splash of color to our downtown. Twenty benches have been completed so far.  We invite you to enjoy these unique additions to our streetscape!

Do you have an artistic flair and a desire to see your work in public?  The Downtown Partners Design Committee is seeking creative entries for the 2012 “County Seat Project.” The Committee will pick the best designs, and the chosen entrants will paint the benches. Simply fill out and return the entry form below.
