Downtown Partners, Inc.

The mission of Downtown Partners is to preserve and revitalize downtown Burlington by enhancing its economy, infrastructure, and historical and cultural features.

Downtown Partners is a certified non-profit Main Street organization that is a division of the Greater Burlington Partnership. In 2004, Burlington was recognized as a Great American Main Street Award winner by the National Trust's Main Street Center.

Downtown Partners is overseen by an executive director working with a volunteer board and Design, Business Development, and Marketing & Promotions committees. By coordinating the efforts of volunteers and supporting businesses and organizations, 
Downtown Partners fosters the revitalization of downtown Burlington through:

• Business and residential advocacy
• Historic preservation
• Building design assistance
• Available property assistance
• Recruiting and expanding businesses
• Streetscape design and upgrades
• Special events
• Media promotions and marketing
• Facilitating the support of downtown stakeholders
