Recent Success
The year 2007 was a record-setting year for the communities in Greater Burlington area:
- Building permits issued for Burlington and West Burlington were up 101% to top $63.7 million in 2007.
- Hotel/Motel tax receipts were at an all-time high.
- Taxable retail sales came in just under $480 million for FY '07- a 6.5% increase over FY '06.
